I'd recommend you open a licensing support case with VMware (from the My VMware portal) on behalf of your customer and explain what you currently see and how you expect it to look like. Provide the details about the purchase of the renewals (any email address on the renewal purchase order might be important).

In my experience the licensing support is extremely helpful and I'm sure they will be able to get this straightened up in short time.
