We did modify the manifest to remove the camera requirement which was the only reason the Nexus 7 wasn't supported.
For tablets, the app will run just fine but the UI is smartphone based (for now). We tried to highlight this in the description so people wouldn't be surprised but feel free to let us know if you think there is a better way to call it out.
