Supported SQL version with Vcenter Single sign on

Hello,

  Can somone tell me if vCenter 5.1 SSO supports SQL 2005 Standard Edtion ? In the documentation it says that vcenter is compatible with SQL 2005 Standard but does not mention SSO. I checked the vmware Interoperability Matrixes but to be honest im not sure thats working correclty as it says Vcenter 5.1 is only compatible with 2008 standard edition?

I have setup a seperate DB on our SQL 2005 standard server this is also where our vcenter 4.1 database runs from. When I run the simple install selecting "use an existing support database" enter my details of thedb name db server and the user and dba user and passwords. I get an Error 29121

Any ideas.
